Eight Southern California coffee roasters and 16 Southern California baristas participated in a brewing challenge at Bird Rock Coffee Roasters on June 3. During the event, each roaster contributed one coffee and the baristas were randomly paired to collaborate to find the best of three extractions and brew methods to come up with a winning cup.
